Formula 1 German Grand Prix Race Preview, Sunday 7th July 2013

After last weekends tire fiasco and the racers threatening to boycott the race unless issues were addressed with the Pirelli tires we were not sure what to expect coming into practice round. But with news of a new tire which should address the current faults the drivers soon hit the circuit to give them a go. With mixed reviews it seemed mostly that the problems had been fixed, especially as we had no blow outs.

After last weeks incredible race at Silverstone we have all to play for here with Vettel dropping a huge amount of points due to gearbox issues early in the race. With Lewis hitting pole last week as well as this week it will be interesting on how he does come Sunday as he done extremely well with a 4th spot finish even with issues with the rear of his car early on.

This weeks qualifier didn’t fair so well for last weeks British Grand Prix winner, as Nico Rosberg finished in 11th position after Raikkonen pipped him to 10th with a last second effort. A result this week for the Red Bull drivers as Sebastian Vettel starts 2nd on the grid with retiring team mate Mark Webber close behind in 3rd.

German Grand Prix Race Betting Predictions, Tips and Picks

With Lewis Hamilton coming in pole position again but with Vettel close behind I feel it is worth putting money on Hamilton this week as the odds show he is clearly one of the favorites to win. Depending on Vettel of course I can seriously see this being a very close race come Sunday.
