Singapore Grand Prix Preview, Sunday 20th September 2015.

What a Saturday we just had with some shock entries on tomorrows starting grid. For the first time in fifteen months we have seen Mercedes fail to have any of their two drivers start at the front with Lewis Hamilton starting in fifth, while team mate Nico Rosberg sits behind him in sixth place. Sebastian Vettel however did enjoy the day with him grabbing a pole position for tomorrows race, the first Ferrari poll since way back in Germany in 2012. The German was a whole half second faster than Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo who starts in second, while fellow Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat places forth.

One of the main issues Mercedes are reporting is that the new tires are struggling to gain temperature, with Lewis Hamilton saying “I enjoyed qualifying. The laps  weren’t perfect. I was on the knifes edge trying to close the gap. The problem this weekend is the tyres are just not working for us”. That said however we all know that Mercedes do have the quicker car, but if they don’t figure out why the tyres are not gaining temperature like they should then they may well struggled when the race starts tomorrow.

Singapore Grand Prix Previous Winners

In the last five season we have seen Sebastian Vettel pretty much dominate with three wins back in 2011,2012 and 2013. Lewis Hamilton has also won here with the most recent being that of last year when he won the Championship. The other who won way back in 2010 is Fernando Alonso who was then driving the Ferrari.

2014 – Lewis Hamilton Mercedes
2013 – Sebastian Vettel Red Bull – Renault
2012 – Sebastian Vettel Red Bull – Renault
2011 – Sebastian Vettel Red Bull – Renault
2010- Fernando Alonso Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton may well be starting in fifth place tomorrow, yet still cannot be taken out of the equation with the Mercedes driver being in the fast car. If his team can get the tyres sorted then he could well win it. Best odds on that happening seen here @ 7/1 with Betfred – Bet £10 Get £30 Free Bets for New Registering Accounts

Nico Rosberg is having exactly the same issues as team mate Lewis Hamilton, and also cannot be forgotten when it comes down to winning the race. that said the bookmakers don’t see the German winning, with the best odds of it happening seen here @ 20/1 with Bet365 – Receive £200 Matched Bets when You Register a New Account

Sebastian Vettel is on pole position, Ferrari’s first in three years coming back at the German Grand Prix in 2012. Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Race Predictions, Tips & Winner Bets.

Sundays race in Singapore can be viewed live on Sky Sports F1 channel in High Definition and features Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel and both Red Bull drivers in the front two grid lines. Meaning for the first time in fifteen months there as no Mercedes drivers starting on the front like! This has been reported to be down to tyre temperatures, and the fact that they just don’t seem to be warming up making the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg considerably slower and making them only slightly quicker than the Williams cars.

My predictions for Sundays race will be both based on last years Championship winner Lewis Hamilton, with the first of the two seeing him finish in a podium place come the end of the race, the odds are great right now so grab it while you can! The second prediction I am going to go for is Lewis Hamilton to finish in the top two, with the other being that of Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel in a dual forecast. Something I do feel has a great chance of coming in, even with him having issues with the tyre temperatures.
