Malaysia Grand Prix Preview, Sunday 2nd October 2016.

The formula 1 season makes its way to Malaysia and to Sepang, where formula 1 has been coming here since 1999. It is known as a high speed circuit, and was actually built on 260 hectares of swamp, so naturally this has made bumps emerge on the track. Since coming here there has been many winners, but the dominate team since 1999 is the Ferrari team with an impressive seven wins over the years, with Sebastian Vetttel winning here last year.

This Grand Prix marks Jenson Button’s 300th race, and where he won in 2009, during qualifying he was able to get into the third session, where he was able to finish in ninth on the grid, behind Nico Hulkenberg and in front of Felipe Massa. Where as Button’s teammate Fernando Alonso, who won here in 2012, will have to start at the back of the grid due to grid penaltys.

But yet again the dominance of the Mercedes with the pace they have shown so far this weekend, has put the both on the front row with Lewis Hamilton on pole. As long as he gets a good start he will really want to beat his teammate, and close the gap between the drivers as it currently stands at eight points

Malaysia Grand Prix Previous Winners

Since being here since 1999, there has been 10 different drivers that have won, but the driver who has won here the most is Sebastian Vettel with 4 wins, whether he can win here tomorrow and make it 5 wins will be tough, as he starts 5th on the grid behind the two Red Bull drivers.

2014 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes
2013 Sebastian Vettel Red-Bull Renault
2012 Fernando Alonso Ferrari
2011 Sebastian Vettel Red-Bull Renault

Formula 1 Malaysia Grand Prix Race Predictions, Tips & Winner Bets.

Mercedes could win the constructors title this race with still five more races to go, but this all depends on where the other teams all end up and the end of Sunday’s morning race.

With Lewis Hamilton leading the way, and being fast all weekend, i believe has an extremely good chance of winning here as long as he makes a good start, which he has struggled with most of the season, especially as he has his teammate just behind him, and Lewis will not want Nico to get in front of him as he is also eight points in front of him in the championship.

The Two red Bull drivers start in third and forth, will be fighting the two Ferrari driver who both start behind Daniel Riccardo in fifth, so that battle will be an interesting one to watch. I am hoping that Jenson Button will manage to stay in the points, he starts ninth on the grid and this race marks his 300th race, i feel that if he can finish in the points he will be satisfied with that after the season he has had with McLaren.

My Banker will be for Lewis Hamilton to complete the Hat-trick, he already has pole and  i am certain he will want to make it a win here too and also achieve the fastest lap.

My other prediction will be for Jenson Button to finish in the points as he starts in ninth, i really would like to see him finish in the top ten, especially as he is taking some time out of racing at the end of this season.
