Fulham v Arsenal Preview, Premiership, Saturday 24th August 2013

A good start to the season for Martin Jol who see his Fulham side triumph away from home to Sunderland with a 1 – 0 win. The Swiss youth international Pajtim Kasami scored the only goal with the simplest of tap ins which was his first goal since signing in 2011. In other news Fulham fans are pleased to see England international Scott Parker chose their side over Harry Redknapp’s Queens Park Rangers who were relegated last season to the Championships. Parker selected to join Fulham to stay in the Premiership which will only increase his chances of being selected for the Wold Cup in Brazil next year.

Arsenal fans can ease off manager Arsene Wenger back with the convincing 3 – 0 away win over Fenerbahce on Wednesday night which will leave them in good stead for the home game next Tuesday at The Emirates. Arsene Wenger has promised the Arsenal faithful that there will be new arrivals before the end of the transfer window, and now that Wednesdays game is over with Wenger can relax and now focus on bringing in new faces. Questions were asked about the possible capture of summer target Luis Suarez but Wenger has said there is absolutely no chance of that transfer happening.

Fulham v Arsenal Team News

Fulham Team News:

With Martin Jol having a fully uninjured squad he has had to work wonders in this summers transfer market, although there is funds available Jol has opted to rather search for the bargain which he has done well with the recent signing of Scott Parker in midfield. With also acquiring Darren Bent on a season long loan the England striker has recently hit out at his current club Aston Villa in regards to the way he has been treated by the club and manager Paul Lambert.

Arsenal Team News:

With Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby sidelined through injury Arsene Wenger recently turned to Newcastle United with a bid for talented Frenchman Yohan Cabaye. With that bid rejected word is that Arsene Wenger will soon return with an improved bid but nothing has been officially confirmed about that. Other news also see’s Real Madrid star Karim Benzema as an Arsenal target but surely if he was available to leave then he would rather look to join one of the top 3 sides being Chelsea or either of the two Manchester clubs.

Fulham v Arsenal Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

With Arsenal’s recent win and with them looking very comfortable in the end I can only see them building on that win with a promising result come the weekend. But with the injuries to Arteta and Diaby I am wondering just where the goals may come from. So my guess would be a 2 – 0 win by Arsenal but also plan to add a 1 – 1 draw as another gut feeling.
