Manchester City v Manchester United Preview, Premiership, Sunday 22nd September 2013

Manchester City enjoyed an away win in the Champions League during midweek as they beat Viktoria Plzen by 3 goals which came from Edin Dzeko, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero all in the second half and after last years disaster of a European campaign where they failed to even record a win the result on Tuesday night came with a huge sigh of relief from City fans.

Manchester united have enjoyed two wins on the run after their dismal display against Liverpool which see them lose 1 – 0 against a better side, although David Moyes defended his team with saying its the best he has seen them play. Good result midweek against a talented German side see United win 4 – 2 on the night against Leverkusen after goals from Wayne Rooney with a brace and singular strikes from van Persie and Valencia.

Manchester City v Manchester United Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

This game as we know can go either way, and looking at both teams results you just couldn’t put much between them apart from one of City’s results where they lost to newly promoted Cardiff City. Manchester United have lost this season as well but it was to Liverpool who themselves where on a 100% start to the season until recently where they drew to Swansea City. It is also hard to predict a correct score here where results in the past all vary so differently. But if I have to pick a scoreline then I will go for the Red Devils in a 2 – 1 win away from home.

My other prediction wont be for a scorer but more on the fact both teams will score, the odds wont be great but you should be good for your money on the day with all strikers on form from both sides of Manchester.
