Swansea City v West Ham United Preview, Premiership, Saturday 19th March 2016

Swansea City head into this game having had a difficult season so far which has the club just 8pts away from the dreaded relegation places, but with two wins in their last three games and home advantage the hosts will be confident of picking up some important points on Saturday afternoon with a victory.

Aston Villa are having one of their worst season’s for many years and look destined for relegation this season as they continue to struggle at the foot of the league table on just 16pts and with the large majority of their players looking to be sold on come the end of the season, I don’t see any fight left in the players to make me think they could win this game.

Swansea City Team News:

Modou Barrow scored his first goal for Swansea last time out and is expected to recover from a hamstring niggle to feature once more. Andre Ayew is likely to miss out on facing Villa and his brother Jordan Ayew due to an ankle injury.

Aston Villa Team News:

Villa are set to welcome back Carlos Sanchez from a hamstring injury but Jack Grealish (ankle) Adama Traore (foot) will have to wait until after the international break to return. Attacking duo Gabriel Agbonlahor (hip/thigh) and Libor Kozak (ankle) remain sidelined.

Swansea City v Aston Villa Match Betting Odds Market

Swansea City are not in the greatest of form heading into this game but their opponents aren’t either and with home advantage the hosts should just scrape home here on Saturday evening at a current best price of 7/10 with BetVictor- Receive £50 Free Bets for New Customers Registering an Account.

The Draw is a current best price of 3/1 with Betfred – Bet £10 & Receive £30 Free Bets when Registering a New Account but does not great value considering none of the previous five matches played between the two sides have ended up in draws.

Aston Villa are a current best price of 5/1 with Bet365 – Receive £200 Matched Bonus Bets for New Customers Registering an Account, but even at this price, I doubt many people will be backing the visitors to win this game.

Swansea City v Aston Villa Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

Swansea City need to win this game if they are to avoid becoming involved in a relegation battle for survival and with home advantage and going up against the worst side in the league, they have every chance of doing so.

It does concern me slightly that Jordan Ayew won’t be playing in this game as he has been instrumental in a lot of Swansea City’s victory this season, but even without him I do still believe that the hosts will prove just that bit stronger than Villa and go onto win this game by the odd goal.

Aston Villa have been exceptionaly poor this season and is why they are currently rooted at the bottom of the league table on just 16pts which in itself is extremely embarrasing for the club and fans and for me I just don’t see any positives to even think that Villa can cause what would be a major shock and win this game.

Onto some predictions then and my Banker Free Tip will be for Swansea City to Win as not only do they have the all important home advantage, they also have a much stronger squad and this is a huge game for the hosts to win if they are to start moving away from the relegation battle.

My First Goalscorer Free Tip will be for Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis to score the first goal of the game as with him having had not the best season’s so far, this game does present him with a fantastic opportunity to regain some confidence going up against the worst defence in the league.
