Preston North End v Manchester United Preview, FA Cup 5th Round, Monday 16th February 2015

A huge game for Preston North End and their fans have quickly bought up all the tickets available with most people having camped out overnight outside the stadium to ensure they got their tickets and there will certainly be plenty of voices from within Deepdale Stadium cheering on their players.

Preston have done really well this season and are on course to make at least the play-offs come May if they can continue their good form.Simon Grayson’s side head into this game having won their last three matches in succession and the players will no doubt be in confident mood of causing a bit of an upset on Monday night, especially having seen league two side Cambridge United hold Manchester United to a 0-0 draw in the previous round.

Manchester United head into the game having looked a completely different side to the one we have seen in the past couple of seasons and their new boss Louis Van Gaal is doing a fantastic job at the helm and with players like Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria, this is definitely a competition that he will feel his club can win and I would expect the United players to play very well in this game on Monday night.

Preston North End v Manchester United Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

I would be very surprised to see Manchester United having any real problems getting the job done on Monday night as although they did only manage a 0-0 draw in the previous round against league two side Cambridge United, they will at least be playing on a much better pitch in this game and I can definitely see their manager telling those who start this game to try and put this game safe as quickly as possible.

Preston North End will have a packed out stadium fully behind them and will obviously fancy their chances of causing a massive upset in this one and the longer they can keep Manchester United from scoring, the bigger chance they will have.

However, I don’t see United taking too long to score the first goal of the game and although Preston North End do have a striker in very good form this season and every chance of scoring for the hosts, I do believe that Manchester United will win this game by at least a couple of goals margin come the full time whistle and my Banker for this game is going to be for Manchester United -1.5 Asian Handicap.

My Saver is going to be for Manchester United to Win either 2-0, 3-0 or 3-1 as for me their class will be the telling factor the longer this game goes on.
