Villarreal v Celta Vigo Preview, Primera La Liga, Saturday 15th February 2014

Villarreal will be hoping for an easy win Saturday night as they look to continue putting on the pressure on 4th placed Atletico Bilbao. With just four points behind Bilbao now they will be seriously pushing for a Champions League place in next years competition. Villarreal will need to get their form back on track after losing twice in their last five La Liga games with the worst coming to relegation battling Real Valladolid.

Celta de Vigo maybe in mid table but they must remember the relegation battle is only five points below them which is making out for a very exciting Primera League finish this year. Form recently has been good for Celta Vigo having only lost once in the last five La Liga matches. They have also won three and drawn the other which has allowed them some breathing space between them and the bottom three.

Villarreal v Celta Vigo Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

Saturday nights game may be a late kick off but it will be an exciting one that’s something these two teams can pretty much guarantee. With Celta de Vigo in great form recently they will come into this match with high hopes of them possibly coming away with a good result. Villarreal have lost a couple in their last five league games and one of them was to bottom side Real Valladolid who managed a cheeky 1 – 0 win at home to the Champions League chasing side.

With the other loss happening to 2nd placed Real Madrid in a 4 – 2 game full of exciting football we can only imagine Villarreal will be hoping to bounce back with a solid win against Celta Vigo as they look to continue their big for Champions League action next year. This game will be a must win for Villarreal if they do want Champions League football next season as we can see three to five clubs all looking to fight for that forth place come the end of the season.

So with everything taken into account I feel Villarreal have too much to lose and will fight hard for the win Saturday night. So I am going for both teams to score and for Villarreal to win over the 90 minutes. The other I am going for is a total match goals of 2 – 3 which could prove to be fruitful with the way both clubs are playing.
