Brazilian Grand Prix Preview, Sunday 13th November 2016.

As we come towards the end of the 2016 season we reach the penultimate track and race number twenty comes from the famous Interlagos circuit in Brazil, where for many years it has hosted the season finale. This circuit is set in the suburbs of San Paulo and is underdeveloped compared to most modern-day venues.

Could there be a new world champion at the end of this race, with Nico Rosberg currently ahead in the championship by 19 points. If he was to win in Brazil on Sunday he will have his first world championship. Lewis Hamilton could make this difficult for his teammate as he secured pole position in tomorrows race. Where for the last two years Nico had earned pole and to go on and win the race. So with only one tenth separating the drivers in qualifying it will make a fantastic race on Sunday.

This race will be Felipe Massa’s last home race, unfortunately he was out in Q2 and will be starting thirteenth on the grid in tomorrows race. His team Williams and the title sponsors Martini will be showing their gratitude to the driver by changing the Martini logo to ‘Massa’ and on the rear wing it will say ‘Obrigado’ which is Portuguese for ‘thank you’. I can imagine that the Brazilian driver will get a very good send off from the fans.

Brazilian Grand Prix Previous Winners

For the last 2 years Nico Rosberg has managed to secure pole and the go on to win the race, however Lewis Hamilton has never won here so I am sure he will want to change this statistic.

2015 Nico Rosberg Mercedes
2014 Nico Rosberg Mercedes
2013 Sebastian Vettel Red-Bull Renault
2012 Jenson Button McLaren- Mercedes
2011 Mark Webber Red-Bull Renault

Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix Predictions, Tips & Winner Bets.

As the season draws to an end, this race could see the world champion title decided. If Nico Rosberg gets a great start off the line tomorrow and manages to pass Lewis Hamilton then he stands a good chance of winning his first championship, but I dont think Lewis Hamilton will make it that easy for him, as Lewis has won the last couple of races I am sure his confidence will be sky high.

My Banker will be for Lewis Hamilton to win, as he starts on pole I think he will get a great start and then continue on to take victory. This could come down to the possibility of Kimi Raikkonen potentially giving Nico Rosberg some trouble at the start of the race allowing Lewis to get away.

My other prediction will be for Max Verstappen to finish on the podium, he is only starting fourth on the grid, but he is a very strong driver and is willing to take risks to overtake drivers, even though his driving style has come under scrutiny over the last few races.

So after 71 laps we shall know if it goes down to the last race in Abu Dhabi or not.
