Swansea City v Everton Preview, Premiership, Saturday 11th April 2015.

Welsh outfit Swansea City have improved since their double loses to Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool with a couple of wins over relegation battling sides Aston Villa and Hull City. Swansea City will be the favourites to win this Saturday even though Everton have been in great form recently with four wins from their last five fixtures in all competitions. Swansea City will next face Leicester City away from home which will be a tough battle no doubt, seeing as though Leicester City are fighting for survival to stay in this league. Their toughest game in the next five fixtures will be Arsenal at The Emirates which comes to us sometime during the month of May.

Everton will fancy their chances on Saturday, especially having been on such a great run of form recently with four wins from their last five fixtures in all competitions. The loss however was a heavy one and came in the Europa League away from home to Dynamo Kyiv, a side they had beaten at home previously 2 – 1. They were knocked out via the away trip when losing 5 – 2 on the night, which see them exit with a 6 – 4 aggregate. Everton’s last three games in the Premiership have been very important wins and has seen them climb a healthy eleven points away from the relegation zone.

Swansea City Team News:

Swansea City are without three players due to injury right now, as Jefferson Montero is the first with a hamstring pull. We next see Tommy Carroll missing due to his ankle while the worse one has been the recent admission of Kyle Naughton who misses the rest of the season due to his ankle ligaments.

Everton Team News:

Everton themselves have suffered due to many injuries over the season, and it wont help seeing their record signing Romelo Lukaku unavailable due to his hamstring. Bryan Oviedo is also missing with his hamstring while Tony Hibbert misses out with a knock.

Swansea City v Everton Head to Head Statistics:

Everton have been the better team over the last five encounters having won three, losing and drawing the once. In total we only have thirteen meetings between the two clubs with Everton enjoying nine wins and only the one loss which was last season. We have also seen three draws over their time, with the last coming back in November of last year.

Previous Average Goals Per Game Statistics

In the thirteen games we have recorded between these two Premiership clubs, we have seen a total of thirty six goals scored which is going to give us an average of 2.7 goals per game. Which really is hit and miss when looking at their last five encounters. The below option however is something I do fancy for Saturday.

Swansea City v Everton Match Betting Odds Market

Swansea City are the bookmakers favourites to win Saturday lunchtime, and it comes as no surprise seeing as though they are doing far better than their opponents when it comes down to the league. Best odds seen here @ 6/4 with Coral – Bet £5 & Get £20 Free when Registering a New Account.

The Draw was the last result when these two met back in November of last year, although isn’t the usual result seeing as Everton do have the better record. Best odds on the draw found here @ 23/10 with Bet365 – Receive £200 Matched Bets when You Register a New Account

Everton have managed to pull themselves away from the relegation battle with their recent three Premier League win. However they must continue that run to stay safe from that dreaded drop zone. Swansea City v Everton Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

Premiership action this Saturday lunchtime comes to us live on BT Sports 1 High Definition where we travel to Wales to witness Swansea City take on Everton. The home side Swansea City are living up to expectations as usual with Gary Monk making good of his squad and keeping them a mid table side. Where as Everton have been terrible this season and are nothing like the side who finished fifth and qualifying for the Europa League.

Both clubs have won three out of their last five Premier League games with Everton facing the tougher side when they welcomed Southampton to their ground and won 1 – 0. Both clubs also only have one of the top three clubs in their next five fixtures, with Swansea City facing Arsenal in May, while Everton play Manchester United at home. The rest of the fixtures could also be tough, as lets not forget that these sides will all be fighting for survival with seven games left to play.

My predictions for Saturday lunchtimes game will see Swansea City win at home one way or the other, with the next seeing the two clubs drawing in some form or fashion. So for the first I am going to go for a Swansea City 2 – 0 win on the day, although I am starting to lean towards Everton scoring at least one on the day. The next I am going for is both teams to score and the game to end as a boring draw.
