West Brom v Arsenal Preview, Premiership, Sunday 6th October 2013

West Brom go into this match in fine form after beating Sunderland and then English Champions Manchester United, and manager Steve Clark was full of praise for his side who have recently started to play to their full potential and if things go well could upset Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal on Sunday.

With a new record of winning nine straight away wins in the Premier League the pressure is on as the unbeatable gunners continue to win match after match with the loss to Aston Villa in their opening game so far behind them. With so many Arsenal players in form right now it will be Aaron Ramsey who will be the pick of the bunch as the Welsh midfielder has now scored eight goals in the last nine games in all competitions.

West Brom v Arsenal Team News

West Brom Team News:

Good news for manager Steve Clark who has seen Nicolas Anelka and Chris Brunt return to training this week after being out with a foot injury and groin strain respectively. Other news see Manchester City loanee Scott Sinclair sit out of Sundays game due to a hamstring injury he picked up in last weekends game to Manchester United which will see Saido Berahino to more likely to be seen replace the winger.

Arsenal Team News:

With a few big names on the injury list Arsene Wenger is happy to know Cazorla is again close to his full recovery and should once again be available for selection after the international break. But the other important name right now is full-back Bacary Sagna who was ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury which he picked up during this weeks Champions League win over Napoli.

West Brom v Arsenal Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

If Arsenal were not playing in the form of their lives right now I would put this down as a difficult prediction and although West Brom did beat Manchester United last weekend I cannot see them repeating the same feat against this current Arsenal side. In fact if they do not defend well I can see the likes of Ozil continue to produce assist after assist and his midfield partner Aaron Ramsey punishing them in and around the penalty area.

So more importantly what to go with, well my favourite is always to guess the correct score and I am hoping to make it a hat-trick with guessing Arsenals recent results with getting both the Napoli and Marseille games right in recent weeks. I am going for a convincing win here by Arsene Wenger’s men with a 3 – 1 victory and also for Giroud to score first which should give some fine odds.

The other I am going for is an Aaron Ramsey goal anytime during the match, I predicted this one last week and sadly it failed to come in much to my surprise as the Welsh wizard has managed so far to score an impressive tally in consecutive games.
