West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur Preview, Premiership, 5th May 2017

West Ham United head into this game having had a poor season and although they do look safe from relegation a victory in this game would be enough to ensure they will be playing premiership football next season.

The hosts have picked up 6pts from their last five league matches played and currently occupy 15th place in the league table on 39pts and are currently 7pts clear from Swansea City who occupy the final relegation place in 18th position.

Tottenham Hotspur head into the game having had one of their best season’s for decades and although the title does look beyond them what with Chelsea having looked unbeatable in recent weeks, the spurs players and fans will obviously continue to believe that a miracle can still happen.

The visitors have picked up an impressive 15pts from their last five league matches played and have already secured that they will finish above arch rivals Arsenal who are 17pts behind them in 6th position of the league table. Spurs have struggled in this fixture over the years though and West Ham would like nothing more than to beat them in this match.

West Ham United Team News Courtesy of Sky Sports :

Andy Carroll will be handed a late fitness test with the West Ham striker still struggling with the groin problem which ruled him out of the last two matches, and wing-back Arthur Masuaku is also a doubt with a foot injury.

Diafra Sakho (back), Michail Antonio (hamstring), Pedro Obiang (ankle) and Angelo Ogbonna (knee) are all out for the season.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News Courtesy of Sky Sports :

Danny Rose is still not ready to return despite the left back being expected to resume full training next week as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

But Harry Winks (ankle), Erik Lamela (hip) and Cameron Carter-Vickers all remain unavailable.

152 of those Goals have came in the 54 previous matches played at the Olympic Stadium and this generates us an average goal scoring statistic of 2.81.

Based on both sets of data shown above it does seem to suggest that this game should see at least a couple of goals scored in this one and the betting market Total Goals Scored Over 2.5 looks a good betting option here.

West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur Match Predictions, Banker Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets

West Ham United have had a poor season but this game is certainly one that their players and fans would desperately want to win, as it would see Tottenham Hotspur’s title bid end.

However, Spurs are playing some excellent stuff at the moment and with West Ham having only picked up 6pts from their last five matches played the hosts will have to be at their very best to win this one.

Every Tottenham player that takes to the field on Friday night will know how important it is to win this game as failure to do so would mean and end to any hopes left that the club has of catching Chelsea in the title race.

Onto some predictions then and my Banker Free Tip for this game is going to be for Both Teams to Score as if we look at the average goals per game statistics and the last five previous meetings between the two clubs, it does show an abundance of goals scored.

My First Goalscorer Free Tip for this game will be for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to Score the 1st Goal of the Game as he will be looking to try and catch Romelu Lukaku in the race of the golden boot.
