Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur Preview, Premiership, Saturday 2nd April 2016

Liverpool are 6pts away from securing a place in Europe next season which means that every game from now until the end of the season are vital if they are to achieve this. The return of some of their key players in recent weeks will go a long way towards that dream happening, but they do face a tricky match on Saturday evening against a Tottenham Hotspur side that has looked extremely good all season.

Spurs seem to have found a manager and the squad needed to push for a long overdue Premiership league title and although many people do think that Leicester are un-catchable now due to their excellent form this season, all spurs fans haver certainly not given up hope and with Kane, Ali and Dier having had impressive games in the win over Germany last week, the spurs players will obviously be confident about winning this game.

Liverpool Team News (Courtesy of Sky Sports):

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino faces a late fitness test on a hamstring injury ahead of the match. Striker Christian Benteke has been ruled out with a knee injury sustained on international duty, but compatriot Divock Origi has overcome a thigh problem picked up while away with Belgium.

Midfielder James Milner returns from suspension while defender Alberto Moreno is back in training after a hamstring problem.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News (Courtesy of Sky Sports):

Toby Alderweireld has recovered from a stomach bug and is expected to be passed fit for Tottenham. Alderweireld has overcome the illness he picked up on international duty with Belgium and Harry Kane has been cleared to play without a face mask he has been wearing for a broken nose.

Erik Lamela took a knock while training for Argentina and is a doubt, while Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njie are both still regaining fitness following knee problems.

Liverpool v Manchester City Match Betting Odds Market

Liverpool do look a much stronger side now that Sturridge and Coutinho are now fully fit and back in the squad and with Liverpool having an excellent record against Spurs at Anfield over the years, the hosts do look good value here at a current best price of 8/5 with BetVictor – Receive £50 Free Bets when Registering a New Account.

The Draw has happened one in the previous five matches played between the two clubs, but I can easily see this game finishing all square on Saturday evening and there is very little to choose between the two squads of players and the draw can be backed at a current best price of 23/10 with Bet365 – Receive £200 Matched Bonus Bets when Registering a New Account.

Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur Match Predictions, Tips & First Goal Scorer Bets.

Liverpool will definitely fancy their chances here against Spurs as they do have an excellent record against them in recent season’s and with some of their key players now back from injury and a European place still well within their reach, the hosts will prove a tough game for Tottenham.

Spurs have had a remarkable season and are still well in the hunt for the Premiership title, players like Kane, Ali, Eriksen, Dier and Alderweireld have all had excellent season’s and will all believe that their first top flight league trophy since 1961 is still within reach.

Onto some predictions then and my Banker Free Tip for this match is going to be for Both Teams to Score as I am expecting this match to finish up in either a 1-1 draw or 2-1 either way.

My First Goalscorer Free Tip will be Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane to open up the scoring for his side as he has been on fire in front of goal this season for both his club and on the International stage and it’s big games like this that he tends to thrive in.
